- Bible
- The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, spoken by God and written down by people whom God inspired to write. God has preserved His Word so that throughout the millennia people would have God's instructions for life.
- Sin
- Anything which is thought, spoken, done or not done which does not please God. Anything based on selfishness or the desire to put ourselves first, above others. We are all born selfish and therefore born with sin. Our sin separates us from God so that He will not hear our prayers.
- Repentance
- To turn away from sin and turn to God. With God's help we can give up what is not pleasing to Him and turn to God to live the way He wants us to for rest of our lives. We can make a new start to life.
- Salvation
- Jesus Christ, the Messiah and Son of God came to live a perfect life and be crucified for our sins so that we can be forgiven. He was raised from the dead so that we can have a relationship with God the Father through Him. Salvation means that God becomes our Father, forgives all our sins, takes good care of us on the Earth, gives us eternal life, and takes us to heaven when we die. We do not deserve it, it is a free gift through Jesus.
- Holy Spirit
- We need to ask God the Father to live in us and through us by His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us to overcome sin and live a life that pleases God. The Holy Spirit teaches us and and prays through us.
- Know God
- There is no higher calling in life than to know God by spending time with Him.
- God's Will
- God's will is for all humanity to love Him, to believe in Jesus, and to love those around us with the love He has given us.
- Prayer
- Prayer is conversation with God our Father. We need to talk to Him and also listen to Him.
- Praise & Worship
- We need to bless God because of what he has done and will do but most importantly because of who He is. Praise and worship honors God for being our Creator and our Savior and for loving us and being merciful and kind to us. Being thankful to God is part of our praise and worship.
- Love
- To love is to give of ourselves in self sacrifice for the benefit others. Love is a decision and a commitment regardless of our feelings.
These pages will be updated regularly with additional topics and scriptures.
